Entry Requirements

✔️Course completion requirements: Fulfill at least 75% attendance and pass assessments
✔️Aged 21 years and above.
✔️Education level of at least Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 3 or its equivalent.
✔️SOQ shall counsel and advise applicants without meeting the education, literacy and numeracy requirement that they may not be able to comprehend the content, keep up pace of training and/or cope with assessment conducted. Where necessary, unsuitable applicants will be discouraged from enrolling in the programme.

✔️LO1: Types, categories and classifications of beauty care, cosmetics and skin care products and their countries of origins.
✔️LO2: Types of customers and their requirements for beauty care, cosmetics and skin care products.
✔️LO3: How to provide beauty care, cosmetics and skin care products advisory in accordance with organisation’s policies and procedures.
✔️LO4: Demonstrations and provide advice on beauty care, cosmetics and skin care products and their usage.

Cosmetic Product Advisory
Discover how to recommend and demonstrate cosmetic products suited to different skin tones and types. You’ll learn a complete makeup advisory routine, including skin prep, product selection, and application for base, eyes, and lips. Gain hands-on experience in explaining product benefits, giving personalised skin care advice, and confidently closing sales through real-life demonstrations.

However, to ensure a deeper and more effective learning experience, you’ll focus in-depth on one skill area — either Face Care or Cosmetic Makeup — for your hands-on practice and role play.
