Entry Requirements

• ✔️Course completion requirements: Fulfill at least 75% attendance and pass assessments
• ✔️Aged 21 years and above.
• ✔️Education level of at least Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 3 or its equivalent.
• ✔️SOQ shall counsel and advise applicants without meeting the education, literacy and numeracy requirement that they may not be able to comprehend the content, keep up pace of training and/or cope with assessment conducted. Where necessary, unsuitable applicants will be discouraged from enrolling in the programme.

Expected Learning Outcomes

Learning Unit
LU1: Use of colour, its’ attributes and relationships and application of emotional, cultural and situational aspects
LU2: Materials, tools and equipment required to experiment with colours and understand the effect of colour matching to achieve the desired results
LU3: Use of color in accordance with safety guidelines and procedures

Hands On/ Classroom Activities
• Colour Theory & Matching Fundamentals | Explore colour attributes, relationships and matching principles to create balanced and harmonious makeup looks.
• Colour Interpretation & Makeup Advisory | Identify individual needs and preferences to recommend suitable and complementary makeup colours.
• Makeup Tools & Colour Application | Practise the safe use of makeup materials, tools and equipment while communicating suitable colour choices.
• Creative Makeup for Themes & Occasions | Create attractive colour combinations and makeup looks for different themes, occasions and desired styles.
