Entry Requirements

✔️At least 16 years old
✔️Academic Requirement: At least a Grade C6 (Min 50 Percent) at O-Level in any 3 subjects or matured candidate who is 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience.
✔️Language Requirement: At least a Grade 5 (Min 50 Percent) at N-Level English or IELTS 4.5

Additional Notes

✔️This is a hands-on workshop, and participants will receive a Certificate of Completion upon finishing the course.
✔️All training materials are included.
✔️Each session runs approximately 3–4 hours, depending on the schedule and class progress.
✔️ Model practice (if applicable) will be arranged by SOQ International Academy. Learners who wish to request additional models may do so at a rate of $80 per model.
✔️On-Job Training (OJT) is available only for the Master Class level under the Eyelash Extension series.
✔️Examination dates (if applicable) will be announced during the course.
✔️Learners have up to 12 months from the course start date to complete their training.
✔️Course Fees are non-refundable, unless the academy cancels the class without an alternate commencement date.
✔️A minimum of 4 participants is required for class commencement. In the event of low enrolment, SOQ International Academy will notify students at least 7 days in advance and offer an alternative start date.

What certificate will I receive after completion?

Upon successful completion of the Eyelash Extension 2.0 Workshop, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by SOQ International Academy. This certificate recognizes your participation and foundational training in classic eyelash extension techniques, marking the first step toward advancing to Master Class programs for professional certification.

What’s the difference between this workshop and the Diploma certificate?

The Eyelash Extension 2.0 Workshop focuses primarily on hands-on practical skills, ideal for those who want to refine their lash application techniques or upgrade their artistry level. It’s a shorter, skill-based course designed to build precision, styling confidence, and real-world experience.

The Diploma in Professional Eyelash Extension, on the other hand, is a comprehensive qualification that includes business theory, professional conduct, client communication, and marketing awareness. It prepares learners not only to perform lash services but also to manage or operate a lash business with professional certification recognition.

Are tools and materials included?

All classroom-use materials are provided during the workshop, ensuring every learner can fully participate in the hands-on practice sessions.

Take-home tools or kits may vary depending on the workshop level or intake, but learners will have access to all essential products and equipment needed during class.

Is model practice included?

Learners will have the opportunity to practice on 2 live models provided by SOQ during class under trainer supervision.

This allows participants to gain real-world experience, improve confidence, and refine their techniques before moving on to more advanced or professional-level training.

What is On-Job Training (OJT)?

On-Job Training (OJT) is a practical learning experience that allows students to apply what they’ve learned in real salon or studio settings. During OJT, learners perform actual makeup tasks under supervision — gaining confidence, improving speed and technique, and understanding how to work with real clients in a professional environment.

Is there a salary during On-Job Training (OJT)?

There is no salary during the OJT period, as it is a training component of the course. However, learners will have opportunities to participate in real assignments such as events, bridal, or personal makeup sessions. In some cases, a training allowance like transport allowance or meal allowance may be provided, depending on the nature of the project and arrangement.

Are there funding / subsidies available?

This course is not eligible for government funding or subsidies.
