Entry Requirements

• ✔️At least 16 years old
• ✔️Academic Requirement: At least a Grade C6 (Min 50 Percent) at O-Level in any 3 subjects or matured candidate who is 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience.
• ✔️Language Requirement: At least a Grade 5 (Min 50 Percent) at N-Level English or IELTS 4.5

• ✔️All amount stated are in Singapore Dollars (SGD), and no GST.
• ✔️Registration Fees refer to the price that the student pays the school for the sole purpose of processing the application requirements, and it is non-refunable.
• ✔️The maximum allowed period for a student to complete the course is 18 months from first date of course
• ✔️The Course Fee are non-refundable, unless there is no future class commence date by SOQ International Academy
• ✔️The minimum number of students that is required before a class commences is 6 pax, in the event the class cannot commence due to low take up rate, SOQ International Academy will notify the students at least 7 days in advance and provide an alternate commerce date.
• ✔️Local Student refers to Singaporean Citizens & Permanent Residents
• ✔️We do not issue Student Passes. “International Student” refers to individuals holding a valid Work Pass or any other long-term permit that allows them to reside legally in Singapore throughout the duration of their studies.

-Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least eight (8) years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness OR case-by-case basis through an interview, taking into account factors such as relevance of experience, learning readiness, career planning, and other relevant considerations. SOQ reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.

MODULE 1: Health and Safety Practices in the Salon

✔️ Understand the key principles of health, safety, and hygiene within the salon working environment
✔️ Follow emergency procedures and maintain workplace health and safety requirements
✔️ Understand the role and responsibilities of health and safety supervisors in supporting safe salon operations

MODULE 2: Semi-Permanent Embroidery

✔️ Prepare the work area, tools, products, and client for semi-permanent embroidery treatments
✔️ Select suitable semi-permanent embroidery techniques based on the client’s skin type, face shape, treatment needs, and desired results
✔️ Perform eyebrow embroidery techniques, including Ombré Misty Eyebrow Micropigmentation using manual and PMU methods
✔️ Perform 3D Natural Hair Stroke Microblading and Hybrid Brow techniques using manual methods
✔️ Perform Latino Eyeliner Embroidery using manual and PMU methods
✔️ Perform 3D Lip Embroidery for fuller and contoured lip effects using manual and PMU methods
✔️ Provide aftercare and home care advice, and update client records where required

MODULE 3: Professional Conduct and Business Awareness

✔️ Understand the principles of ethical practice, professional conduct, and service responsibility
✔️ Apply consultation techniques to understand client needs, treatment suitability, contra-indications, referral procedures, possible contra-actions, aftercare, and home care advice
✔️ Apply effective communication skills when advising clients before, during, and after semi-permanent embroidery treatments
✔️ Understand basic finance, costing, retail, sales, and marketing principles to support beauty service operations
