Entry Requirements

• ✔️At least 16 years old
• ✔️Academic Requirement: At least a Grade C6 (Min 50 Percent) at O-Level in any 3 subjects or matured candidate who is 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience.
• ✔️Language Requirement: At least a Grade 5 (Min 50 Percent) at N-Level English or IELTS 4.5

MODULE 1: Anatomy and Physiology

MODULE 2: Holistic Massage

✔️ Understand the history, principles, and relevant regulations of holistic massage treatments
✔️ Conduct client consultation to understand treatment needs, recognise contra-indications, explain possible contra-actions, and determine treatment suitability
✔️ Select suitable massage mediums based on the client’s skin type, treatment needs, and comfort level
✔️ Perform holistic massage using classical massage movements and adapt the treatment according to the client’s specific needs
✔️ Carry out proper pre-treatment and post-treatment procedures to support safety, hygiene, and client comfort
✔️ Explain the benefits, contra-indications, techniques, and procedures of holistic massage clearly and professionally

The Diploma in Holistic Massage provides learners with a comprehensive set of professional skills required to deliver effective and safe massage treatments. Learners will master holistic massage techniques, including the ability to select suitable massage mediums based on different skin types, apply the five classical massage movements, and adapt treatments according to each client’s unique needs. They will also develop strong business awareness — understanding client needs, identifying contraindications, conducting professional consultations, and offering pre- and post-treatment advice to ensure optimal care.

The course further emphasizes health, safety, and hygiene practices, alongside a detailed study of anatomy and physiology, focusing on the body’s systems, common diseases, and disorders. Learners will explore the principles and practice of complementary therapies, as well as professional conduct and business awareness within the wellness industry. Additionally, they will cultivate essential soft skills such as effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving — all crucial for success in a client-focused environment.

Throughout the course, learners will be introduced to and practice over 10 different massage techniques, including Effleurage, Petrissage, Frictions, Percussion, Tapotement, Vibrations, Passive movements, and more — equipping them with the versatility and confidence to perform high-quality holistic massage treatments.
