MODULE 1: Health and Safety Practices in the Salon
✔️ Understand health, safety, and hygiene principles relevant to the salon working environment
✔️ Follow emergency procedures and maintain workplace health and safety requirements
✔️ Understand the role of health and safety supervisors in supporting safe salon operations
MODULE 2: Face Care and Eye Treatment
✔️ Prepare the work area, client, tools, and products for face care and eye treatments
✔️ Conduct skin analysis and consultation to understand the client’s skin type, needs, and treatment suitability
✔️ Recognise contra-indications and adapt treatments according to the client’s specific condition
✔️ Perform face and eye make-up removal, superficial cleansing, deep cleansing, exfoliation, and scrubber application
✔️ Apply face and eye massage techniques, including Effleurage, Petrissage, Tapotement, Swedish, Shiatsu, and Korean Golki techniques
✔️ Apply masks, toner, moisturiser, and suitable skincare products according to treatment procedures
✔️ Practise proper towel management, hygiene, and client comfort throughout the treatment
✔️ Provide aftercare and home care advice, and update client records where required
MODULE 3: Professional Conduct and Business Awareness
✔️ Understand the principles of ethical practice, professional conduct, and service responsibility
✔️ Apply consultation techniques to understand client needs, treatment suitability, contra-actions, referral needs, and aftercare requirements
✔️ Apply effective communication skills when interacting with clients during consultation, treatment, and aftercare

The Hands-On Practical Training provides learners with extensive real-world experience to master the skills required for professional facial and eye care treatments. Throughout the course, learners will practice gentle yet effective make-up removal, followed by superficial and deep cleansing techniques to thoroughly purify the skin. They will conduct detailed skin analysis and client consultations to identify individual needs, perform exfoliation using scrubbers, and apply a range of advanced massage techniques including Effleurage, Petrissage, Tapotement, Shiatsu Massage, and Golki Therapy (Korean Face Lifting) to promote circulation and relaxation.
In addition, learners will gain expertise in mask application, toning, and moisturising, ensuring each client’s skin is left refreshed and radiant. Professional standards such as towel management, hygiene, and client aftercare advice are also emphasised to maintain a high level of service quality. This hands-on approach equips learners with the confidence, precision, and professionalism to perform high-quality facial treatments in a salon or spa environment.
